When a foreigner citizen purchases a property in Portugal, there are many services that distance, language and other obstacles make it difficult to solve. Most of those services are often initiated by the negotiation and signature of a contract. Such are the cases of contracts with real-estate agencies, insurance companies, labour contracts with house hold employees and contracts with utility companies (e.g. property maintenance or security).
